Remember I told you last week that the weather is wonky here in SF? Well nothing has changed. When the weather gets like this, I lose all fashion inspiration and basically try to throw together looks that look somewhat fashionable.
One way I do this is to wear vests. Vests are super easy to wear and you can dress them up or down. I was heading out with my husband and threw this 3.1 Phillip Lim vest on with a mini and a Burberry shirt. This vest is beautiful. It is military inspired and is almost like a heavy dress. The corset detail on the side is divine and adds a bit of surprise to the look. I could see this vest being worn with a pair of flats and great wool sweater. A really easy look despite the groggy weather.
I purchased another vest recently from Neiman Marcus, but in black. It is my goto vest and keeps me warm when the weather is gloomy.
Vests maybe my new thing.
