5 Reasons to Fly Business Class with Air Canada  | Air Canada

Air Canada Business Class 737

Air Canada Business Class 737

Air Canada. Air Canada. I really love you despite the press sometimes. I am 100% loyal to Air Canada. Why? They are the only airline I trust to fly me somewhere and back. Their service has not failed me.

I told you about my experience flying business class with Air Canada and about the perks of their Air Canada 35K Altitude Elite program. Today I want to tell you about my experience flying business class toDubai, mainly the seating and the food.

Here are my 5 reasons to fly Air Canada Business Class:

  • Super large and comfy seats
  • Duvet and pillow service
  • Complimentary travel kit
  • Wide variety of meals
  • Snacks during the flight

Okay let me answer the major questions…

How Big Are the Seats on Air Canada’s 787?

My Dubai flight from San Francisco was long but so relaxing. I flew to Toronto from San Francisco which was 5 hours and then from Toronto to Dubai for 12 hours. From San Francisco to Toronto we sat business class but that flight was on a Air Canada Airbus A 319 so the business seats were large plush chairs. I have sat in these type of seats before and I really loved the extra space. I also sat in the first row of this section so I had even more space. How was the flight? Great. Lots of space and excellent service including taking my coat and yummy food.

We had a lay over in Toronto for 3 hours and then we boarded our next flight to Dubai. The flight was on a Air Canada 787 plane. This was probably the best flight I have ever taken. I was concerned about flying 12 hours after already flying 5 hours from San Francisco but Air Canada took good care of me.

The Air Canada 787 plane has the upgraded pods in business class. Pods are seats that convert into beds, they have a lot of space and are super comfy. Each seat has a pillow, full duvet and socks to keep your feet warm. They even have slippers so you can take off your shoes and really relax. You even get a little kit with hygiene supplies and a sleeping mask. So cute!

These seats are highly coveted because they have been upgraded and renovated from the Air Canada 777. I have flown in business class on the Air Canada 777 before from Toronto to San Francisco and definitely there is the difference between the business class seating on the 787 and the 777.

The 787 business class seats are brand, spanking new. I really like the space and the luxe feeling. Everything looked untouched and I felt like I was moving into a new apartment. I was able to hold my large Celine Phantom with no problem. The seating was excellent and the flat bed was comfy. I sat next to my husband and the only concern is that I could not put the divider down to see him.

On a long flight you really want to be comfortable and be able to get some rest. Business Class seats definitely make me feel at home. I slept the majority of the flight. If business class is not in your budget, consider the premium economy as they have a lot of space as well.

How Is The Food On Air Canada 737?

The food was exceptional. I ate everything that was offered. I mean it is included. Ha! I am always impressed with the menu and its offering on Air Canada business class flights. They usually offer a vegetarian option, meat option and a healthy option. I usually order a mix of meals to ensure I get to try a variety of meals. Either way you will find a meal for you.

I also love the snack tray that comes around with chocolate and chips. I even got an extra piece of chocolate ganache cake to enjoy while watching a movie on Air Canada’s fashion channel on the flight. It was sooo good!

Here are pics of the food I enjoyed…

So there you go. I took you along with me on my super long flight to Dubai.  I can’t wait to fly on Air Canada’s 787 again… in Business Class. Would I fly business class with Air Canada again? Definitely.
Especially on a long flight.
