I have been married for over 5 years (6 years in July) and it has been a beautiful journey. I often look back at my wedding and think of the small changes that could have been made. What can I say, I’m a perfectionist. There is one thing I wish I could change… I wish coolsculpting was available back then. Ha! I know it sounds crazy but let me give you the background info.

Since I have been married I have lost over 25 pounds and even with the weight loss I realized there are areas that will never change even with my complete diet and exercise overhaul. One of these areas is my lower abs. After hearing about coolsculpting in the past couple of years, I was interested in how coolsculpting would help my lower abs and boost my confidence. Coolsculpting is a body sculpting treatment that freezes your fat cells. Here is the description of directly from coolsculpting.com:

“The CoolSculpting procedure safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. Treated fat cells are crystalized (frozen), then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.”

Once the fat cells are frozen they are emitted from your body naturally. With diet and exercise you see changes in your body’s shape and contour based on the places you had coolsculpting.

Dr. Usha Rajagopal MD.- Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in San Francisco

A few weeks ago I visited Dr. Usha Rajagopal’s clinic here in downtown San Francisco. Dr. Rajagopal is a Board Certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Rajagopal is also the Medical Director of San Francisco Plastic Surgery and Laser Center. Dr. Rajagopal’s clinic offers Coolsculpting along with an array of other treatments. During my visit, I received a complimentary coolsculpting treatment. I met Dr. Rajagopal who discussed the treatment with me, prepped me for coolsculpting and reassured me that everything would be ok. Next, a technician came in and applied the gel, then the applicator and I sat for with the applicator on my stomach for 45 minutes. I listened to podcasts, the new Cardi B album and spoke to my brother on the phone. I was very comfortable and the time flew by.

I went home after the treatment, did some shopping and drank a lot of water as recommended. Day 2 was fine as well but Day 3 was a bit more intense. I felt more discomfort but this meant the Coolsculpting was working. I called Dr. Rajagopal’s clinic, told them of my discomfort and they suggested applying ice to my lower abs and taking a pain reliever. I repeated the icing and medication for three days and felt great.

Now over 30 days later I can say the process was so worth it. I saw results in the first week. My lower abdominal area in smaller in partnership with my consistent workouts and clean eating. I am still seeing improvements every day. If I knew about Coolsculpting I would have done it in preparation for my wedding day.

5 Reasons why I tried coolsculpting at Dr. RAjagopal’s Clinic

Coolsculpting is non-invasive– Coolsculpting is a simple process. It is exactly like I described. There are no cuts or injections. You sit on a chair, the gel is applied and then the cooling applicator. After a few minutes you are ready to go. You are free to workout the same day and/or head back to work

Coolsculpting yields Quick Results- The results are almost instant. After day two I saw a difference. Make sure you are working out regularly and eating clean. The results will be faster and more apparent. It is crazy to see the results right before your eyes but they are real.

The Process is Fast – I sat with the applicator on my abs for 45 minutes but there are treatments for 30 minutes. Coolsculpting does not take all day. You can even do this on you lunch break.

The Office is Clean and Comfortable- Dr. Rajagopals’ office was very welcoming. The waiting area felt like I was in my living room at home. The room they did the Coolsculpting treatment room is branded head to toe with Coolsculpting logos and equipment. You can be confident that they are using the correct machines properly. The chair I sat in was comfy and plush. I almost didn’t want to leave.

Kind Staff– Most of all the staff at Dr. Rajagopal’s office was very kind and caring. Dr. Rajagopal spoke with me before the treatment, answered my questions and gave recommendations. She then instructed the staff on how to set up the treatment. They talked me through the process, were very gentle and helpful. They checked on me every 15 minutes until the treatment was completed. The room I was in was very comfortable with a window, side table to put your books and bags.

Coolsculpting was very beneficial fir me but don’t get me wrong, I am still working out and maintaining a healthy diet. Diet and exercise are major pillars in my life. Coolsculpting is not a quick fix. You should only consider it after you have put in the work.

Would I do coolsculpting again? Definitely. That reminds me I need to book my next coolsculpting appointment with Dr. Rajagopal. Book you Coolsculpting and Plastic Surgery appointments with Dr. Rajagopal in San Francisco. Tell them MsChurchDress sent you.
