I am starting a new family tradition. I want to visit NYC every Thanksgiving. I got back from NYC and couldn’t believe Christmas was in full swing. There were decorations everywhere. The stores windows were filled with holiday gift boxes, big red ribbons, and twinkling lights. It was very exciting to see Christmas was taking over the city of New York. If you ever want to visit NYC during Christmas there are hundreds of things to do to get you in the festive season.
Here are 5 Things to go in NYC during the Christmas season.
Visit Radio City Music Hall
This spot is busy in NYD but go around 9 am, take some iconic Christmas photos, and then people watch or even pick up tickets for the Rockettes.
Grab Hot Chocolate
Want to make me smile? Bring me a cup of hot chocolate. In NYC there are so many hot Chocolate shops. Jennifer and I grabbed two piping hot cups from a Ralph Lauren pop up in Rockefella center. Our smiles tell it all.
Go Shopping In Soho
Shop til you drop in SOHO. From boutiques to big box stores, there are so many fashion options in SOHO. Pick up a vintage piece or the latest from Fendi. They are all in SOHO.
Enjoy Cronuts at Dominque Ansel Bakery
If you are in SOHO make sure you stop by Dominique Ansel bakery and pick up a world renowned cronut. You might be in line for a while but it is all worth it. Not into the croissant and donut hybrid? Try my favorite toasted coconut croissant or chocolate croissant.
Skating At Rockefeller Center
I used to skate years ago but now I love watching people elegantly glide across the ice. If you are watching or skating you will get the full New york experience at Rockefeller Centre. Bring your skates or you can rent a pair nearby.
Walk Through Times Square
Cliche but make it fun. I love checking out the Forever21 store and M&M boutique. Don’t forget to take photos for the gram. Grab a coffee and snack at the many coffee shops.
