Have you been to Singapore? If not you need to check it out. Singapore reminds me to San Francisco. It is a laid back city with a lot of fusion between culture and food. The people, the weather and food, these were all of the highlights of my stay to Singapore. My trip was short and sweet but even in 4 days I was saw all Singapore had to offer.
Flying 17 hours to Singapore was daunting but I kept myself preoccupied on the flight. When I arrived in Singapore I was ready to explore the city and I did. For those who like short trips and don’t want to waste anytime in Singapore, here are my top 5 things to do and see in Singapore.
5 Things You should Do and see in singapore
The Helix Bridge- Before I was a blogger, I was a biochemist. The DNA helix is very important in Biochemistry and apparently Singapore agrees. The Helix bridge located in the Marina Bay in Singapore is designed to look like a Helix. I walked through it an was amazed by it design and how much it really looked like the NDA helix. Looking at the Helix bridge standing from the outside it is shiny and beautiful. Looking at it standing on the Helix bridge, you feel like you are in a sci-fi movie. Right next to the bridge is a shopping center and th the Garden by the Bay, my final fav spot in Singapore.
Garden by the Bay- Garden by the Bay is located in the Marina Bay area. There is so much to do in this area and some of the places I suggested above are close to the Marina Bay. Gardens by the Bay is the perfect place for the flower lover, plant lover and tree lover. There are so many options of exhibits you can choose from depending on your level of love for gardens. While I was in Singapore there was a tulip festival. I was overjoyed because I love tulips. There were so many types of trees and flowers on display. I even saw a flowers arranged in the shape of a cupcake.
Singapore is now on my list of top 5 places I have ever visited. only shared my top 5 things to do but there is so much more you can see and experience in Singapore. Do your research and find excursions and experiences to match your taste.
Does Singapore sound like somewhere you want to visit? I highly recommend it.E-mail me any questions if you decide to go to Singapore.
