831MINHLE Spring/ Summer 2018 | New York Fashion Week

​Light. Airy. Free. This was the essence of the 831MinhLe Spring/ Summer 2018 collection. The runway was hosted in a dull cream room and the clothes were a great compliment to the ambience.
 
Off- White, Cream, blush and white were a soft contrast to the bright colored printed lace. Both were appealing and showed both the softer and bright side of the designer. I could see these dresses being worn as bridesmaids dresses or as an evening dress at a beach wedding.  My favorite look was the grey cream gown with the lace bodice. It was the find line between lingerie and a slip yet it was elegant and heavenly. The model’s hair was pulled back into a sleek messy bun. The makeup was simple yet rosey.
 
While people were looking at the dresses I was enjoying the shoe selections for the show. The models wore velvet and satin skater type sneakers. They were so elegant and made the models look like they were walking on water.  The majority of the collection was dresses with frills and ruffles in many blush tones. Off the shoulder dresses, frill sleeves and bows moved down the runway, adding movement to the gown-like dresses.
