We went to Church on Sabbath… late. EKKK. In the evening we enjoyed the Wind and String Recital in my church where we celebrated its 25th year. I have pretty much been playing in the recital for 20 of those years. Ha! I am getting old… I think.
On Sunday, we headed to my Aunt’s home for Easter dinner. My In-laws, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, second-ncousins and church family were there. It was so much fun. The wide array of food, stories and jokes really reminded me of the importance of family.
During our dinner my Auntie C showed me a picture of my Great-Uncle Cyril who is 92 years old. She recently visited Trinidad and spent some time with him. Sadly he passed away the next day. It was a powerful moment that revealed that you can be here today and gone tomorrow. RIP Uncle Cyril. Thank you for being a fun uncle who put with my snakes and ladder tournaments.
For Easter church Service, I paired my Queta Accessories Clutch with an Ankara two piece skirt set that I made. I wore purple Louboutin So Kate pumps, a vintage pin and a fur stole.
In my hair, I used my favorite product Aunt Jackie’s Curls & Coils Curl La La Defining Curl Custard. This is my staple product and I usually need to get a new bottle every two months.
When my hair is wet I run it through my hair and just like that my hair is LIT! I am not joking it is that simple. Oh! I use some oil to get the shine.
Hope you enjoyed your Easter Holiday.
