How to Style OTK Boots and Sweater Dresses

So first of all I do not celebrate Halloween but doesn’t this look, look like Cookie Monster. I honestly wasn’t going for a Cookie Monster look but it just happened. The look I was going for was the perfect Fall uniform … Sweater dresses and Over the Knee (OTK) boots .

OTK boots have a bit of a stigma but they are super warm. They are like sweaters for your legs. When you pair them with a sweater dress you are pretty much all bundled up. In the fall I purchase a great pair of OTK boots and a bunch of sweater dresses and I am all set for the cold. If you don’t want high heels OTK boots get flats. The flat OTK boots are great for Fall as well. You can wear them with jeans, mini skirts or leggings.

Sweater dresses are so easy to wear and style. Throw a sweater dress on with OTK boots or a pair of combat boots and chunky socks. You can wear a belt around your waist or a pair of denim for a more casual look. Sweater dresses are also very slimming and make you look taller. Winning!

This blue sweater dress is bright and fun. The contrast of the blue and the black makes the look pop.  I added a skinny belt to add some shape to the sweater dress. The white sunnies really made the Cookie Monster look come to life. These oval frames are the style of the season.  If you want to invest in a piece this holiday, get a pair of oval glasses. They are so chic and totally on trend. Once again Tiffany by StylesbyTiffanyDawn did a phenomenal job on my hair.
