Camel Coat and Light Washed Denim

Filed in: Fashion

Picture

… And we are back. I had a great Christmas break and I’m back with the jump off… Shoutouts to Lil Kim. The holiday was full of so many memories with family and friends. I never take my family for granted and especially around the holidays. I also got the surprise of a lifetime during the holidays. More on that to come tomorrow.

The weather has been iffy in San Francisco with lots of rain and some ” coldness”. San Francisco has not really seen coldness until they hit -20 like Toronto.  Running out to do  errands on a sunny San Francisco day, has become a fashion opportunity for me to try different looks. When you leave home you want to look good but also be comfy.

The keys to a great “ Running errands look” are:

  • Comfy Pants or Skirt. Leggings are ok as well
  • Loose Top/ Sweater/ Blouse so you can breathe
  •  Hands- Free Purse
  • Big shades just in case
  • Swaggy coat with lots of room
  • Gloves. If you are touching dirty knobs or pushing germy carts

I lovedenim as you all know and a pair of light wash jeans never failed me. I threw on a camel sweater and heels to match. My coat was one of the best investments of life because it goes with everything. If you can purchase a Max Mara coat, do it. My bestie B calls it my “Kim K” coat. Shoutout to Kim Kardashian, the Queen of Max Mara coats. My new crossbody Furla bag is soo helpful  because it is hands-free and gives you the freedom to get more accomplished rather hand holding the strap or handle of a bag.

What is your favorite “ Running errands” outfit.
Do you own a camel coat?
Is it your favorite one?
