Casper Mattress Review

Filed in: Uncategorized

If you know me you know I love to sleep. My mother often tells the story of me coming home from the hospital as a newborn and not sleeping for two weeks. It was not until she got a pastor to pray over me, I slept like a baby. Pun intended. Since then I am a heavy sleeper with a love for beds.

We are outfitting our new home and needed a new mattress. So when my husband suggested a Casper mattress for my new bed in my Cali home, I was a bit skeptical. A mattress that comes in a box? What kind of thing is that? Ha! I was confused but my husband was convinced that a Casper mattress would give us a sound and comfortable sleep each night.  Well this is hard to say, but he was right!

The most amazing thing about my Casper Mattress is the customer service experience. We ordered a king size Casper mattress from our phones via their website.  We literally ordered it while shopping in Whole Foods! It was a simple process with lots of options for delivery dates and times. We selected the time and date for delivery and waited.

We didn’t wait long until we received a text message, and then another, and then another. See the Casper text message thread below:

The box arrived right to our door and I was amazed. I starred at the box for half an hour. The stripes on the box really got me. They wrapped around the Casper logo so perfectly. I was wondering if I should keep the box and frame it. Ha!

We opened the box, rolled out the mattress, cut the plastic off and watched the mattress expand. Yes expand. It was soo cool. I even facetimed by bestie EB so she could witness the phenomen that is Casper. Think about it it for a moment.. Witnessing … Casper… Isn’t he a friendly ghost? Ha!  EB is a marketing guru and had  heard about Casper mattresses but wanted to see it for herself. Thank you FaceTime  for making this moment possible for her and I to experience Casper togehter! Ha!   I couldn’t believe how flawless and easy the process of ordering and installing my  Caspar mattress was.

Our first night sleeping on Casper,  I slept well and woke up feeling like I slept on a large pillow.  My husband slept next to me but it felt like he wasn’t there. Way to go  Casper. You managed to turn my husband into a ghost as well. The mattress is king sized so it was very spacious, soft and plush.

I wanted to keep the box, so I did. Here a fun photo of the box , stool and rug from Pottery Barn. These are the first few things we purchased for our new place. But don’t worry the mattress is being put to work ( Wink wink.) and it was been great thus far. Once my bedroom is put together, I will show you the mattress and the bedding I selected. Now all I need are the Casper pillows!

Casper has got this mattress- in-a- box thing on lock. Not only is their product amazing, easy to order and install, but their twitter account is hilarious. If you love to sleep, Casper’s Twitterfeed is filled with all the sleepy thoughts that you keep to yourself.

Would you try a mattress in a box?
