I love Toronto. When I am in my hometown, it just feels right. I was in Toronto for a 40th celebration at my church and it was an amazing weekend filled with family, food and fun.
Today is Monday right? Yess it is. Mondays are my favorite day of the week. So I want to throw it back to last Monday in Toronto with one of my favorite fashion people. I have friends, family and then I have fashion friends. I will introduce you to them along the way. Here is the first one… luxury blogger, fashion genius, social media guru TUXEDOSERGIO, my true fashion friend who understands the fashion side of me. We talk luxury purchases, we review Paris shows, travel together to fulfill our fashion dreams and spend hours at Hermes looking at the craftsmanship of $20,000 blankets. Yes. We love fashion. #fashionfriends.
Last Monday I spent the whole day with Serge…. I call him Serge… we tore up the city. Since I left Toronto much has changed with the fashion scene. Stores have changed, designers have come and gone and it was great exploring all of my favorite boutiques and cafes with Serge. So let’s recap the day.
“ I’m On Bloor Where you can’t shop”- Drake, No Shopping- French Montana feat. Drake
We were in Yorkville, one of the prestigious fashion areas of Toronto. So Serge took me to the new Christian Louboutin boutique and I was blown away. It was a regal boutique with a lot of red, red carpet, red shoes, red soles. We picked out shoes we loved and spoke about the true beauty of Louboutin design. These are the moments I live for. Next door to Christian Louboutin was the OFF- WHITE boutique, a luxury streetwear brand. The clothing was crafted in Milan. Streetwear is not my forte but I found a blouse I love. Ekkk! Now I am thinking about it. Let’s see if I actually get it.
Yorkville is full of boutiques and we went to almost everyone. We stopped at the Four Seasons Toronto for a meeting and to see the flowers of the day. Do you know they change the flowers everyday?
We went to Fresh which is a healthy vegetarian and vegan spot in Toronto. I love the food there. You don’t even miss the meat. I had the BBQ burger and Agapi had a quinoa bowl. We chatted all evening. Such a great time catching up with Agapi. We worked at Esprit De Corp and now we are both successful women with careers that are growing. #startedfromthebottomnowwehere
Ok to be honest, we got Yogurty’s after. Ha! The yogurt was yummy and we only had a little bit.
