Closet Dreamin’: No. 21 Knotted Satin Mules

Filed in: Fashion

Who doesn’t want these shoes! Origami design has been everywhere this season. From shoes to tops to bags to hair, all fashion influentials are knotting their pieces to add dimension. These shoes have been everywhere and seen on everyone. The red striped ones were spotted more than the green satin design. But  I prefer the green ones because the satin really shows the shaping, shadows and layer of design. This season I have also had an affinity for mules.  Mules are so easy to wear and you can slip them on an off with ease.

No.21 is lead by designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua. 21 being his birthday date and lucky number of Dell’Acqua, his designs feature boyish tailoring while keeping the details  women love.

Green shoes maybe odd but I have so many outfit ideas for these babies. Because they are such a show shopping shoe, a simple ripped jean and white t-shirt would make these shoes pop. A high-low ballgown  or skirt with a floral blouse is another option.  For a vacation look, a long, sheer printed kimono with denim cut offs and a one piece or bikini top would take these formal shoes from the banquet to the streets of the caribbean.

For those who are not bold enough to wear green shoes  they also come in black. But take the leap and try a bold, colourful shoe!

Which one of these are your favorite?
Would you rock the green ones?
