I have seen ColourPop on social media for a while but once again it was an American company that I couldn’t justify paying a million dollars in shipping and customs to bring into Canada. Now that I have moved into the US, I am pretty much in love with ColourPop.
Olori Swank was the first person I saw wearing a shade that I actually needed to have. She was wearing LAX by ColourPop and I was so in love with the deepness and rustiness of the colour. After doing my research, I realized that there were other colours that would look perfect on my skintone.
My ig bestie Caribbean Cowgirl LaNatratria is also a fan on LAX and she rocks it well.
On Boxing Day I picked up LAX and a few mini ColourPop sets. They quickly arrived to my home and I fell in loved with the mini sized ColourPop. The best value is the mini sizes because you get a variety of colours to try and then you can purchase the full size once you fall in love with a shade.
I mainly like the matte and satin lipsticks. They last all day, don’t bleed. I liked them soo much, I purchased a few for my bestie EB in Toronto. She had to have them to try the quality. We love trying new lipsticks and reviewing them. No YouTube video needed. We are always on the hunt for the perfect lipstick.
Tulle- A lovely light nude that you can use everyday.
LAX- Do you like a deep lip? Then this is the lip colour for you. Line your lips with LAX and then fill it with Tulle.
Notion- This is my favorite colour from the set. It is a deep fuschia matte that pops.
Love Bug- I would describe this colour as a rusted pumpkin. Perfect for fall.
Bianca- another great nude that looks perfect with Currant lip liner by Mac.
Fortunately, ColourPop is guiltless. The majority of their products are cruelty free and vegan.
Have you tried ColourPop?
