I wore a variety of looks all week while attending shows and presentations at NYFW. But on the last day I went to the Leanne Marshall show and was heading to a meeting with the Michael Kors team. I wanted to be comfy so I put on this look… with a strong message. Ironically, it was one of my most photographed looks during New York Fashion Week.
It is awesome how much a graphic tee can make an impact especially one with a message to end racism. When I arrived at Spring Studios, my shirt was welcomed by many people and streetstyle photographers.
Why did I pick this shirt? With all that is happening in the world and especially the world of fashion I wanted to spread a message that would resonate with everyone. Racism has got to GO! It has no place in fashion or anywhere in the world. If you are racist you need to really look in the mirror and make a change.
