I’m back from my adventure in the South Pacific. If you have not seen the photos as yet, head to my Instagram to see some of my favorite moments. Visiting Fiji, New Zealand and Australia was a dream of mine. I am happy and blessed to say traveling to the South Pacific has been crossed off my bucketlist. The trip was fantastic and was the longest trip I have ever taken in my adult life. I spent three weeks with my husband who is the only man I could spend so much time with. Ha!
For the entire second half of 2017, I have been celebrating my 5 year wedding anniversary. I love, love and I love my love. The purpose of this vacation was to renew our wedding vows on the shores of Fiji. For this special occasion we wanted to wear something unique and fab.

Gideon’s Needle created a beautiful matching set of His and Hers looks for us to wear to dinner after our vow renewable ceremony. I wore the Peacock set which is a skirt and half peplum blouse. The skirt is solid black fabric with a bit of lycra and the top was made of a yellow and blue peacock inspired cotton print. My husband’s top was a custom designed Ebo shirt using with black fabric as the base of the shirt and the same yellow and blue peacock print as my blouse

Even their label was perfectly placed.
We wore both pieces to dinner in Fiji and the staff, hotel guests and even children stopped us and asked us where we got our pieces, who made them and complimented us on how unique the design was. This is what fashion is supposed to do. Fashion should be a conversation starter and it should be an expression of yourself. After our dinner celebration, I packed my look neatly in my suitcase to wear when I returned to California. My husband on the other hand, pretty much wore this shirt for the rest of the trip. He loved it so much, he even ordered a few more.
