Every Monday I am telling the tales of classic outfits that I have made. For the holiday season I am bringing them out to tell you a lot of about the history of this piece.
This top was originally a pajama. Ha! My friend’s mom hosted a family pajama party last year and I wanted to stand out. I didn’t want to wear a traditional pajama so I mixed it up a bit.
This tartan print was pajama-ish so I picked up two yards of fabric and went to work on the sewing machine.
Green and Red are the colours of the season so the colours and print are perfect for the holidays. I paired it with a pair of red leggings for a sleek, sexy vibe and my favorite red shoes by Maison Margiela. All of my pins were collected during my travel and I thought they looked cool against the tartan print.
So there, I turned a pajama look into an ultra glam set.
