Vacation is such a fun time. I love planning my looks and looking for unique pieces to take with me.  I love bright bold colors and textures. Before I even did my interview with ShuEsq I fell in love with these sandals and purchased them.  So when my trip to Jamaica came around I knew they would have to be squeezed into my suitcase.

ShuEsq has a beautiful collection of shoes selected by their team. I have a large collection of shoes and I still want the entire ShuEsq shoe collection. The Fine Wine Gladiators that I purchased are an excellent addition to my collection. First of all they are super comfy and look great. I styled them for a poolside look. I fell in love with this Kimono from India. My two-piece swimsuit was from Target. My turban was my Hermes Silk Scarf and I wore my handmade bracelets from my trip to Mexico.

These are my first pair of gladiator sandals. I think gladiator sandals get a bad rep because they seem to be hard to style. Here are my tips for styling gladiator sandals:
 

  • Wear them with shorts and a kimono
  • Wear them with a mini dress or skirt
  • Do not wear them with long pants because it would hide the design
  • A long skirt with a front or side slit would add drama
