How To Wear A Jumpsuit This Summer | Hot Girl Summer

Filed in: Fashion, Style, Travel

Trinidad & Tobago is one of my favorite places on earth. It is such a beautiful country and it’s the home of some of the most valuable people in my life. My parents and husband are both from Trinidad & Tobago. I even named my company after one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Trinidad, Maraval Made.

Why do I love sweet TNT? First of all I love the food.  Have you ever tried a buss up shut and curry mango? It is heaven on earth. What about a currant roll and sugar cake? If you ever have the opportunity to visit Trinidad & Tobago you have to read this first. Lastly, my family is all there. Trinidad is home to all my cousins, my Aunts and Uncles and I even made friends locally.

I recently visited Trinidad and packed a few looks to reflect the vibes and energy of the country. I visited on right after the carnival season and the hit Savannah Grass by KES was the song of the season. So of course I had to take my photos around the Savannah in the capital, Port- of- Spain.

I went to visit the coconut man and drink fresh coconut juice with my husband. He was loving the coconut jelly. I am not a fan. Ha!

This velvet jumpsuit was stunning. I love the stretchy fabrics and ironically it didn’t make me feel hot. It kept me cool and felt so comfortable. I made this bolero jacket to add more dimension and style to the look. I even got my braids done for the Trini girl vibe.
