This has been a long time coming. Moving to San Francisco did not just happen overnight. We have been working on this move for years and finally our dream is a reality.
It is not easy leaving your closeknit family after living with and around them for 30 years. I never left Toronto. I didn’t go away for school so being away from the comfort of my mom, aunt and now my mother in law is new. BUT… others have done it before so I definitely can with my husband in tow.
I am happy for the opportunity to experience life in another country with the love of my life. It is another breeding ground for me to build my dreams, work hard and write another chapter.

The worse part of moving was living in the “in-between-space” where all your stuff is shipped and all you have are the clothes on your back. You can’t be fashionable but I gives you the time to build memories with your family before moving.
