While in San Francisco, I had the pleasure of meeting Christophe, the Co-founder of Atelier Cologne a cologne collection. Christophe was hosting an in store appearance at Neiman Marcus to showcase Atelier Cologne.
I always appreciate meeting the designer of a collection and listening to their interpretation of their brand. Christophe spent time with me explaining the stories behind his fragrances and after listening to his inspiration for each of them, I understand the notes of each scent.
Each bottle of Atelier Cologne has a different colour label. Some even come in a metallic bottle. I loved this design element because usually cologne bottles are black, white or transparent. Adding a coloured label added,some spunk to the bottle. With the variety of colognes and coloured labels, your favourite can be easily identified.
After testing about ten different scents, my favorite were Mimosa Indigo and Rose Anonyme. Each had their own story of mystery, travel and femininity. Mimosa Indigo of the Collection Orient, with a purple label, told the story of a woman who entered a club at 3 am and fell in love with jazz music all over again. Rose Anonyme of the Collection Absolue, told of a female bandit who left a rose in the safe of her victim.

The best feature of Atelier Cologne is the travel size bottle with a coloured leather case. The case can be personalized with your name or initials.
Both scents reflect the stories that they depic.
