My New Beauty Space- Vanity Series

Filed in: Uncategorized

Picture

Who doesn’t want a beauty space? I think with the invention of Pinterest and Instagram, women and men alike want beauty spaces or man caves.   A beauty space was at the back of my mind but I knew it wasn’t a priority in my first home. However, my husband pretty much let me take over the bathroom and do my hair and makeup thing. Thank you love! But I still wanted one eventually.

I waited for a while for my own beauty space and it is finally here! It is not going to be massive but it will be mine!  I am taking you all along for the journey of the design, development and the final process. You will get to see the sketch become reality as well as DIY design details and partnerships with various beauty brands that I love.

Why do I need a beauty space? Well to do my hair and makeup of course but also to have a great background for my new Youtube channel. I am joking. I am not too sure about YouTube, as yet  but the former reasons still remain. I really want to wake up to a space that is my own and reflects my personality and creative energy.
Do you feel me ladies?

So let’s talk about the details of what I need in my beauty space.
Here are the main requirements:

Plush Seat
Vanity Table with Drawers
Mirrors
Brush Holders
Hair Supply Storage
 Area Rug
Decorative Trinkets
Makeup Brushes

Inspirational Art

Colour scheme: Turquoise, Navy Blue, Orange and Gold. This might change but I want a darker, travelling empress vibe!

Look out for my five ( or more) part vanity series and send your suggestions or any pictures for inspiration on Instagram or to my email.
