It’s Monday and I am feeling powerful. Happy Monday! #Ilovemondays. I threw together this look on the weekend and initially I was going to wear the lace dress alone but the rain in SF was not helping me. So I added my trusty kimono duster.
My fav colour is purple and when I wear it I feel like a queen. Purple is so bold and makes you stand out in a room. I made this dress for my birthday a few years ago and it still bangs. This is the beauty of sewing your own clothes. Your clothes mean so much more when you make them. I made the kimono robe as well but it was one part of a three piece set. The contrast of fabrics and prints make the look pop. My shades are by Tom Ford and I waited about five years before I actually purchased them. I like to wait before I make my luxury purchases.
