Red and yellow is a difficult colour combo because you do not want to look like a McDonald’s sign or Ronald McDonald himself! Ha! With a touch of black, red and yellow is manageable.
I made this top voluminous to compliment my skinny jeans. More on these fabulous jeans from Royalty For Me in a bit. Ruby Woo made me feel woooooo-tiful and I threw on a choker type necklace because it is my favorite look for summer 2016.
I have a rule when dressing that is based on… dun dun dun… proportions. If I am wearing a voluminous top, I wear skinny pants. If I am wearing a flare pant or skirt, I wear a more streamlined slim blouse or blazer. Get it? This keeps the eye tamed and balances the overall look. Do not get me wrong, sometimes I just want a big, huge, bold outfit and may wear a balloon skirt with a balloon shirt or a skinny skirt with a skinny top but generally I keep is balanced to add to my confidence and fashion aura.
So back to the jeans. First off follow Royal for Me Jeans on Instagram. I purchased these pair ( Jeans Style: WP653044 ) on my trip to San Francisco and from the moment I tried them, on I fell in love. LITERALLY fell in love with Royalty For Me Jeans. The fit. The look. The feel. Perfection. The colour is the right shade of dark and the fit is tight and right! It hugs every curve in the right way. Another notable feature of Royalty For Me Jeans is has no zipper. It is pull on jean with a simple waistband! The fit is just divine and feels and looks like you are wearing Spanx. Here is the direct link to these exact jeans on the Royalty for Me Jeans Website. Have you ever tried a pair of jeans with no zipper? It is a game changer in your self-confidence if you have a small pooch or just want the extra tummy support.
