Rent the Runway has been a part of my fashion world for a long time. I have never used Rent the Runway but the concept was always been refreshing and interesting to me. Imagine wearing as many designer dresses you wanted without the hassle of having to store them, pay full price or feel the guilt of giving them away. Unforunately, for years I was not able to access Rent the Runway in Canada. There were other options similar to Rent the Runway but I had no desire to check out the competition. I did however watch as many Youtube Videos about Jennifer Hyman, the CEO of Rent the Runway as I was fascinated by her vision and determination.
It is divine timing that now that I have moved to San Francisco, Rent the Runway is being offered exclusively at Neiman Marcus San Francisco. I had the pleasure of attending on the opening night and what an opening it was.
I know what you are thinking, how is this partnership going to work? Will you still be renting? Can you walk out with your dress the same day? Will they have my size? The answer is YES to all of these questions. And then for shoes and accessories, you can select pieces directly from Neiman Marcus. The Rent the Runway space is actually inside of Neiman Marcus. Total Luxe.

How convenient, efficient and modern is that. I could see this being a savior for those work events you forgot to plan an outfit and need a dress by the end of the day. Or an unexpected event comes up and you need a dress by the weekend. Solution? Hop onto the Rent the Runway app, select what you like and it is in your hands in 1 hour. What more could a woman ask for? I wouldn’t expect any less in in a city like San Francisco that is oozing with tech solutions to the smallest fashionable predicaments.
