Slowly… this blog… Is turning… into … an … Interior… Design Blog. I ‘m sorry. All I want to tell you all about is home goods, interior design and setting up my new home. Decorating my new home is a fun yet time consuming process but I am totally committed to getting everything completed. Maybe not by the end of year but as soon as possible.

While purchasing all of the little things for my home ie. trash cans, ice cream scoop and laundry baskets, I gravitated towards the aesthetic of one particular brand. It was so ironic that from a list of suggested items on Amazon, I selected six pieces by the same company. The sleekness, the elegance and poise of simplehuman home and lifestyle pieces stood out from the rest. I ended up purchasing six pieces from simplehuman and I am very happy with them.

Imagine with me… Life… home life… kitchen life… a simplified life… the simplehuman life.

The 40 L trash can by simplehuman is a must if you cook frequently and especially if you do not have a garbage room on the same building floor of your condo. The 40 L trash can holds so much! It is helpful when tidying up the house and the kitchen.  I can cook quite a few meals before having to take out the trash. It also doesn’t get smelly. Phew! The front step opens the lid which is convenient when your hands are filled with trays or even more garbage.

After using the trash, I usually wash my hands. Soap dispensers can get tricky because you want them to be germ free but you have to touch them with your germy hands to get the soap out.  Simplehuman solved this problem with their touch- free sensor operated foam soap dispenser. I am so happy that I added the foam soap dispenser to  my home and my lifestyle. Germ Free. Grease Free.  Simple.

As a low-key product junkie, I like to have all my favorite body products within my reach. The simplehuman shower caddy helps me organize all of my body products with east. The adjustable trays, can be moved around vertically and horizontally, to configure to the appropriate height of the products. They are visible, organized and fit perfectly. No more cramming bottles into your shower caddy.

Each bathroom in my home has a simplehuman 4.5L step trash can. They are stainless steel, cylinders with the pedal on the front to open the lid.  In my humble opinion, stainless steel is the best material for germy home appliances. Germs cannot fester on stainless steel. Plastic may be cheaper but not at the cost of your health. Once again simplehuman stands out with its sleek design and germ proof materials.

Often it can be difficult to find the right sized bags to put into the trash but simplehuman is 10 steps ahead with their own collection of trash can liners to fit the size of their trash cans. When you receive the trash cans in the mail, they come with three liners to get you started.

On my simplehuman wishlist is their sensor vanity mirror. It would be a great addition to my new beauty space. The light on the mirror mimics natural light and turns on when the sensor detects your face.  Major need!

Outfitting your home with the basics can be easy with simplehuman. I was worried I would forget the littliest of pieces needed to complete my place but there are so many other pieces by simplehuman on the website, you won’t forget anything. To see their full collection of simplehuman homewares, visit their website here. You can also find their pieces on Amazon.com or at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Simple.

Are there any simplehuman pieces you need to have?
Have you tried simplehuman pieces before
