Tod’s Spring Summer 2019 | Milan Fashion Week

Filed in: Events, Fashion, Style, Travel

Tod’s is known for their leather craftsmanship made in Italy. So imagine how I felt being invited to review their collection during Milan Fashion week. The room was filled with images of black and white polaroids with slashes of color. The color was all of the outstanding pieces fro the Tod’s SS19 collection.

The collection was strong I couldn’t tell you my fav piece. Every piece was my fav. Tod’s use of cobalt blue made a huge impression on me as so designers shy away from using cobalt blue because it is so strong. Tod’s didn’t hesitate to add cobalt blue to their collection and accessories collection. The patchwork coat in brown, black and cobalt blue was stunning and I am sure will be sold out soon.

There were also many black and white accessories in snake print which reflected the black and white polaroid theme in the venue. The men’s collection was spectacular. My fav piece was the navy blue loafers trimmed in burgundy and another pair of loafers in the reverse colorway. The totes were sturdy and perfect for carrying everything you need for a long day.

The Tod’s collection has something for everyone and more for others. I think I am one of the others because I loved the majority of the pieces form the SS19 collection. The direction Tod’s is going with their design, versatility and craftsmanship is the future.
