I used to pack them together in one bag but that was NOT working. Now I pack them separately to avoid any issues with leaking.
My mother-in-law blessed me with a Mary Kay makeup brush case and it doubles as a makeup bag type thing. At first I thought it was not going to help me but now it is a key staple for packing my makeup. It holds my brushes, has a makeup bag in it and a section for blushes and eye shadows.
- My essential makeup brushes
- Eyebrow supplies
- Eyeshadows
- Blushes
- Bronzer
- Tweezer
- Eyelashes
- Eyelash glue
- Mascara
- Concealer
- Primer
- Cotton Balls
- Makeup Removing wipes
- Eye makeup remover
The makeup that I wear to actually travel in, I keep in my handbag. Recently I was listening to a Youtube interview with blogger and fashion creative Margaret Zhang where she suggests not wearing make up when travelling… not too sure about that move but I may try it and see how it goes.
Before heading to the airport my hair is usually tied down and then I touch it up before I head out. So I still need last minute access to my hair tools. My hair must haves are literally packed in a plastic bag. Why? They are always leaking, can stain other things and are usually the last thing that I pack. The plastic bag is easy to throw away if something leaks. What is in the plastic bag?
- Large tooth comb
- Brush
- Headtie ( Head Scarf)
- Ponytail Clips
- Rat Tail comb
- Edge Control
- Hair products that I can’t put in travel size squeeze bottles
Quick. Easy. Stain Proof!
