Trends for Fall | Origami Style Bags

Filed in: Fashion, Shop, Style

NYFW in September is the season to bring out the best fashion. It is hot in New York rather than February when it is ice cold. The heat forces you to bring the fashion heat with bright colors, adventurous style and shorts. The shows at New York Fashion Week give you a preview of the trends for the following season. But the streetwear fashion outside of the shows, bring out all the current trends. I love going to the shows but I also love the streetwear styles. Here are some of my favsfrom 2016.

One of the most stunning trends of this season (and possibly for life) is origami bags. Origami is going beyond art and into bags, clothing and shoes. Yes, I mean origami like the Asian art form. Origami bags literally look like pieces of origami and/or can be converted into other styles. They make such a statement when wearing structured pieces and add a level of sophistication to any look.

The design of origami bags make can make them look complicated and unique. When you wear an origami bag is shouts, “ I LOVE FASHION”. Ha!

With such a fun bag design, some people might shy away but it is so simple to wear. Rock it with all black, a white shirt anddenim or with a bright red dress. I am still thinking of which origami bag to get this season and scouted these ones above. What do you think? Would you wear this trend?
